The QED One series cables uses oxygen free copper in all its interconnects and speaker cables. Oxygen free copper is produced in a way that virtually eliminates the oxygen content. Because there are fewer impurities in this type of copper it improves its conductivity. WHY USE GOLD CONNECTORS? In conditions under which most other metals either tarnish or corrode away, gold remains inert and extremely durable.
